Medford Friends of Charter Review Meeting, September 2016

*** PUBLIC MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT ***

Supporters of the City of Medford having a charter (analogous to a constitution) review process will be having a core planning and structure meeting open to the public at the Medford Public Library (111 High St.) at 7:00 – 8:55pm on Monday, Sept. 12, 2016 in the Library’s Magoun Room.

Note: This meeting will be audio-visually recorded and made available for future audiences online and through other media.
In addition, the meeting may also be live-streamed.

7:00 Welcoming

7:10 Meeting commencement activities
Selection of meeting moderator, meeting facilitators, meeting secretary, and meeting recording announcement, followed by respective quick query about privacy concerns and any reservations of members.
Declaration of meeting conduct protocol.

7:20 Updates on developments since the last meeting (March 7, 2016), followed by any respective quick Q&A

7:30 Group structure revising (election of new officers and description of duties)

7:40 Discussion of the outreach and education plan (To be provided at the meeting and working copies also available upon request from the author Matthew at director@masstraction.org). Modifications to finalize the document and voting on group acceptance.

7:55 Discussion of the tracking and progress plan (To be provided at the meeting and working copies also available upon request from the author Matthew at director@masstraction.org). Modifications to finalize the document and voting on group acceptance.

8:10 Structured open conversation for participants to develop ideas that will ensure the charter review process is continually engaging for all members. (Note: This is an ongoing process and will not be the only opportunity to contribute to this particular discussion)

8:25 Decision on the processes for continual engagement and establishment of communication procedures so that members remain updated, communicative, and understand our responsibilities to each other

8:30 Collection of information for member database

8:40 Subgroup creation and configuration of duos (2-member-sets)

8:45 Collection of signature sheets, assigning of tasks, and announcement of next meeting

8:55 Meeting concludes
